I know. It killed me to write a Ron-sympathetic one. But better that than a Ron-sex one. *shudders*. Um. I lowered my standards in the coming weeks, though, and that is unfortunately to come. *winces*

Well I was going to give you grief for hating Ron. I happen to really like the the poor guy unless he gets in the way. I mean, he gets the girl in canon, let others play with her a bit in fanfic, will ya. But I digress...You treated him well here, even keeping his dignity intact, so I will let it slide :)Incidentally, knowing you, I thought that Ron would be asked to do something much more lascivious for his money *scoops mind out of gutter*

That's so funny, you are the second person to mention that! And It honestly didn't even occur to me! *WAILS* I must be slipping! That's why it didn't win, certainly. No, I couln't bear the thought of Lucius/Ron, come on... (sorry, even I have standards *sticks out tongue at you*)Go check out A Costume Drama... it's only 1500 words, and it has some wicked Lucius there that will make up for what I missed here ;)

Though I fail to see why Ron hates being poor. Been poor all my life, never been ashamed of it. Stupid.
