I adore this story. It's fabulous, marvelous, wonderful, and magical, really, really truly magical.Many, many thanks, Stef! I loved getting this fic in the exchange.It's my (current!) favorite fic of yours, so I'd say that you did an excellent job of aiming it at me!There are so many wonderful things about this fic, I just am mind-boggled trying to come up with any one specific thing. Naturally, the "Groundhog Day" meets "A Christmas Carol" aspect resonated strongly with me, and seeing Albus's psychic/spiritual healing, and Minerva's varying reactions to his reactions to her visits as he healed and grew in his understanding, was all especially wonderful.You also have some really nice turns-of-phrase and visual images in the fic, never over-done, either.It was wonderfully sentimental without being sappy, and romantic without being . . . sappy. And it had an edge of tristfulness mingled with hope, then the happy ending of the sort I do so love.And I just have to add that I really like "Holly Sprig"! And, of course, her dark-eyed, fluffy-haired compatriot!  Oh, and how could I forget the way that you wove in my favorite "fanatic" quotation. And I loved the cliffs in the opening scene, too.It really hit the mark as a gift fic! Thank you, Stef!~
