This is absolutely fantastic. I mean of course his life was full of lost promises, regrets, remorses but the way you show him with his bitterness and desperation to be loved. Just WOW!

normally I'm not crazy about tiny drabbles, but you are excellent and poetic in your depiction of a miserable soul. Wow!
