Reviews for Sonnet out the Window
Beautiful, poignant sonnet--sad that Snape is incapable of appreciating it and the poetess in bloom who penned it, but then that's not surprising as he was incapable/unable to appreciate many a thing. There is a lovely, ethereal quality within it as in Shakespeare's sonnets, the immortality of words touched upon blended with a passionate personification--fantastic usage of all of the prompt words, awe inspiring talent and skill, again and again--lovely, lovely work!
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
The intent of the drabble was a word game to use all the prompts and to depict a canon Snape reaction to a romantic outburst. Hence, your finding the sonnet worthy and your finding depths in Snape's reaction is a greatly appreciated compliment. Thanks.
A very clever use of the words.

Thank you very much.
This is exactly the sort of thing that I was hoping to see. Well done.
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
After using all the prompt words and forming rhyming couplets, there wasn't much time or energy left. Hence, it's good to hear that the prompter likes the effort.
Until that last line, I thought Lockhart might have penned it!
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
I thought the sonnet was imaginative, had no idea it was crazed.
Did she get to use salt? Hee.

Perhaps a dose of bitters.
That's not very nice from our dear Professor. And the poem is really nice.
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
Glad you liked the poem. I'm part of the minority that thinks our dear Professor is not a nice person.
*giggle* Poor Snape. And poor witch, having to literally eat her words.
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
Eat her words? It's symbolic - transmutation - all quite poetic, really.
Wow! I'm inpressed; you managed to us all the words!
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
Thanks. The trick is to use the words as prompts.
Brava! I can't help wonder if there is an actual limit to your talents in writing; I remember that 1k-sentence, which was quite a feat as well.Loved, loved, loved the last line!
Response from Amita (Author of Sonnet out the Window)
Thanks. There are many limits, but I'm glad you enjoyed the drabble.
