The natives gave Severus drugs that took him halfway to self awareness, but they underestimated the strength of his self-loathing, his pride, and his anger.  They do, however, recognize he's dangerous in his current state.  Glad you enjoyed this strange tale.

It's possible that they are Severus just a bit over the edge.

Except Severus's complaint is that it hasn't caused enough.

I pictured this to be held somewhere in the bushland near Uluru. I'm Australian and part Koori, so I can picture the elders trying to explain the Dreamtime to Severus. And his response lol
