Eh, I'm too boring to have a proper bio.

I know she probably doesn't feel like it, but Hestia is a very brave young woman. And in a way, she's going through the same thing that Professor Snape did when he was passing information to Dumbledore and the others; he can't save everybody, and some people had to be sacrificed to preserve his cover. How do you decide whose life is more important or whose isn't important enough without starting to loathe yourself?Great picture you've painted of Hestia Jones and a day in her life. She'd better get an Order of Merlin out of this at the very least!

I agree, she's very brave--but you're right, she doesn't feel like it. I think in her mind, the lives she can saves don't even begin to compare to the ones she can't, and guilt and fear and regret quickly overshadow any good feelings that come from saving the ones she's able to save. Poor Hestia... :(
Oh wow what a picture you've painted. Only a day in her life, but one of such terror and sorrow. Working for Death Eaters and trying to help where she can. You've really made Hestia come to life. This is going in my favs file!

I'm glad you enjoyed this! It was really fun writing from Hestia's POV, even if it's such a stressful and awful situation she's dealing with. *hugs Hestia*
Wow, a very powerful chapter. Will there be more? I'd love to see her opinion of Vernon...

I've got a few different missing scenes happening in my head for various characters. Most of them probably won't be posted until after FitS, but some--like this one--seemed like they fit better now, rather than later. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant. A heartrending look at how sometimes you can't be heroic, you have to be sneaky, and you have to be careful, and you cannot save everyone.
