I am of German origin but tend to move around a lot in the world.
Currently I am living in Asia.
HP fanfiction is my favourite place to escape it all and I like tea with juice.
That's pretty much all you need to know :)

Very sweet and tender. Hermione is very clever, but of course he will eventually find out she is no half-blood named Jeanne... poor Molly and Arthur and Ginny shall finally have food. And I like your pureblood tradition of the morning gift. Can't wait for more!
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!Draco will find out, but not anytime soon. It will also probably be in a way that is not expected. The morning gift is actually a nearly obsolete German tradition (along with a few other European countries, I guess). I know a family that still gives the same jewellery set to the bride on the morning after the wedding night, as they have done for generations. The next chapter is in the queue!
Hermione also chose life. They are so screwed up.
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing. This is just the beginning of screwed up. This universe is rather merciless...
HMm. Sort of a Pretty Woman meets Stockholm scenario. I'm interested, and I'll be looking for more, though I'll admit to having issues with the nonconsensual nature of their interactions (with her poverty and his power, I'd consider it coerced). Just please tread carefully as you go, and I'll be glad to come along for the ride. -Liv

Thank you for reading and reviewing! In a situation such as this, which, magic aside, is quite typical for post war scenarios anywhere in the world, there are indeed power issues and you are absolutely right that Hermione is at a disadvantage. I can only say that everybody in this universe has an agenda, Hermione included and that she would not be the smartest witch of her age if she would not use the events to her advantage. The next chapter will go into the queue tonight and I hope you'll give it a chance:)

My goodness of course! When I saw your response I thought of Fontine's "10 Francs could save my poor Cosette" line from Les Mis (pardon me if I misspelled/misquoted- it's been a few years). I wouldn't r&r something I didn't like and intend to follow. However, your 'agendas' comment interests me enough that I'd read along to follow the various manipulations even if I didn't actually like it. But I do, so it's win-win all around!
I almost feel sorry for him. But wow, I hope he punishes Cutbush somehow.
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing! There are victims of war and tyranny that might not be obvious, but they are victims nonetheless, I think it's alright to feel a bit sorry for him.The next chapter will go into the queue tonight :)
I can't wait for the next chapter! This looks really good so far. :D
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you! I am glad you are enjoying the story! The next chapter is in the queue :)I wish you a Happy New Year!
Wow, this isn't the type of story I usually read (I don't tend to like ones where "the dark side" wins) but I'm so glad I tried it anyway. I loved the relationship that you built between Draco and Hermione. And your ending with the pepper was truly superb. Just a wonderful, wonderful read. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love the happy ending!
Also, it was fun reading the hints through the story and seeing them coming full circle (with the portraits, for example). :)
Thanks for sharing!
What a wonderful story, Lady of Clunn. A beautiful, emotional, brilliantly crafted AU romance, although I know you didn't classify it that way.I had seen this story updating for months, but I never 'hit' it because of the title. I thought it would be about vampires. Silly me. So glad I took the plunge and read it today. Fabulous.
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you so much!I am so glad you gave the story a chance!A few people have told me that the title made them reluctant to read the story, but I heard the word when I was watching a documentary on Jack the Ripper and suddenly the story was in my head.It was impossible to chose any other title :)
Its over?! Sob*** it was beautiful and poignent. (and I serious cannot spell sometimes.)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you!I have a, well, 'optional' epilogue planned as a seperate piece. As soon as Draco Big Bang and another merciless Dramione plot bunny let go of me, I will get to it :)
I'm glad they could find each other after all of that, and that she could find humor in that rather inappropriate gift.
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing!I think it helped that time has passed and they can look back with a bit of distance. After all, none of this would have happened without The Pepper...
Love the bouquet! :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you!The 'pepper' needed to make another appearance :)
Wow! I jsut love this story! I'm a HG/SS shipper all the way, but this is excelent story telling, i jsut haven't been able to stop. Plus it was a wonderful distraction from my dreadful night class, where, thankfully there is wireless at the college.I really hope to read more soon, and sorry i waited to review until I was couaght up, but I just had to keep reading :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing!I love HG/SS as well! Somehow I just end up writing Dramione, Lumione or Gen all the time...The next chapter is in the queue!Hope your night class is not too horrible :)
Wow. Great update. Please update soon!
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing! The next chapter is in the queue :)
Whew! Hope she appreciates it. :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Do you know how awesome you are for reviewing all those chapters! Thank you so much!!She is glad to be out of the Warren and back with him, but they both know that the world around them is changing dramatically.
He was drugged, I say, drugged! :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
He was! And under pressure to maintain his Highr Reeve persona in front of the others. And probably pretty turned on as well...His 'friends' are Slytherins. Theo wanted revenge and it was easy to rope the others in. They see Hermione as a weakness and by driving a wedge between them, they aim to exploit that weakness and maybe gain something to hold over his head in the future.
Hmm. Will he suspect? :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
It's a very dangerous situation and Hermione starts to realise that she can't hide from him much longer.
Little Draco watching the cricket was cute. :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
On my way home from work, I pass by a cricket ground. In summer, there are always a few little boys watching practice and one of them has white blond hair :)
Draco is falling... hard. :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
He is, very much so!The poor man thinks he has finally found someone to hold onto...
Wonder when he will figure out who she is. Does her voice change as well with the choker? :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
I think Draco sees very much what he wants to see. That is a very good question! I never thought of her voice as changed. It's been a few years since they had seen each other at school and they have not exactly been known to have personal conversations besides insulting and yelling at each other.
Now she's in trouble! :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Oh, yes! Trouble, indeed. But in this universe absolutely everybody has an agenda and is using whatever circumstances for their advantage.
His tenderness was unexpected. :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reviewing! As tender as Draco can be at that point in time...
Sad, but well portrayed. Looking forward to reading more. :)
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing!I am glad that you like the start :)
So many regrets on so many sides. Sigh. Really, they were too full of themselves and forgot they were dealing with people, a real woman, not a toy to be shared.
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for all your wonderful reviews! There are many aspects to the situation. (besides the obvious one :))Theo wanted revenge. The others are 'friends' but they are also Slytherins. It is good to be on friendly terms with the High Reeve. It might be even better to have something to blackmail him with or cause him to weaken. Then Draco was definitely drugged by them but he was also under pressure to keep up his High Reeve Persona.BUT in this universe, everybody has an agenda. Hermione was indeed overwhelmed by the events, but she could have stopped them as per contract. She is definitely using what happened to her advantage and is turning the tables on them.
Theo and Blaise are up to no good. And Hermione and Draco are going to be very hard to separate very shortly.
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
You are absolutely right about Theo and Blaise. That will come to light in chapter 9...Thank you for reading and reviewing!
A very emotional chapter. Poor Hermione seems to be going a little crazy. At least she got some sunshine, poor thing. Looking forward to more!
Response from Lady of Clunn (Author of Uncoffined)
Thank you for reading and reviewing!Hermione realises how isolated she is, but she will soon be confronted with the outside world. The next chapter is already in teh queue :)I am glad you are enjoying teh story.
