I'm a freelancing Yank who lives in the Midwest with her husband, three cats, and two dogs.
I'm a dabbler by nature. Jack of all trades, master of none. I write, run, swim, garden, quilt, bake, and so on.

Such a lovely bit of interaction for Severus and Minerva, a much-needed respite during that horrible year. So, years since you started this, is there any chance of one or two more chapters? I'm curious about what you would make of the duel - Minerva, Flitwick, Sprout, and Sluggo against Severus - what was she thinking. Also, what Minerva did to find (and hide?) him afer the battle.
I just love your writing and what you do with your characters! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Now what do that drunken pair want! I hope Severus can get rid of them without too much trouble. I love Minerva-kitty's POV, and stress relief technics.
Awesome, I guess yur wish was my comand. I barely finished the otehr chapter when I discovered there was a new one. Was this the end. I reallyenjoyed it so much.

LOL well still a tease chapter looking forward to more LOL

I like to call it plot building... but ok. I'm not quite sure how it's teasing...

Fantastic,mate. Well done.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it. This one's near and dear to mah heart.
This chapter had a lovely, bittersweet feeling to it. Their union was bright and brief, but if that is all the relief that is afforded them, they would be fools not to take it. It's a given that fanon Severus is sexy. But you accomplished a difficult task, making uptight, stern Minerva into a sexy witch, letting her hair down literally.I look at it this way: if Severus is so tightly wound, he might mess up and that could cost many lives. Minerva is doing her part for the war effort. That she benefits from their arrangement as well is just catnip on the kibble.

you accomplished a difficult task, making uptight, stern Minerva into a sexy witch, letting her hair down literally. Thank you so very, very much. I'm tickled to know that I achieved my goal. *squishes you*
Boy, she must love him to endure that verbal abuse. But she stands her ground to help him. And the elaborate plan they concoct (fun word!) to cover up their future rendevous? He must care for her deeply as well to want to protect her.Minverva is no sex kitteh. She's a cougar! Mraow, indeed.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Oh, Minerva's a tough old girl, she can handle him. :D And, oh, my, you've got me thinking pervy thoughts about the word 'concoct'.
How wonderful that they found a way to have that moment. Of course he turned back into the Headmaster, but I imagine the fact of its occurance will be good for him.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
It was indeed good for him. The poor man was about to explode without some sort of outlet. Thanks so much for the review. Sorry it took me so long to respond.
There are ways to write this ship that really pull it off well. I rather like this cat-woman/great bat of the dungeons pairing.
I like that he's as concerned for her as she is for him, but that they're going to take the chance.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
I'm glade you enjoyed this story. It was a nice challenge to write this pairing.
Way too short look forward to more, Very good :)
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Thanks. :)
Really intreguing beginning, I've only read one or two other Minerva/Snape stpries. This one good.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Thanks!
It's funny that Minerva thinks about her cat-actions and the impact they will have later on her human body. And still she's curious, checking out Severus' personal affects, looking for signs of her 'lost' wizard. Her ankle rubbing was rather kinky. How convenient they are ensconced in a warded bedroom now. Hmm...
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
I'm sure it only takes getting your tail stepped on once to be very conscious of such things. :) Thanks for your lovely review, my dear.
I hope curiosity doesn't kill Minerva!cat, or perhaps she has many lives to spare. I'm sure Severus can think of something Minerva can do to help him. I'm jealous of her animagus stress relief. I want to hiss and engage in fur-bristling at the end of a rough day. Love her kitty POV.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Thanks so very much,
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
. It was tons of fun writing her kitty POV. And I agree with you about the stress relief. Wouldn't it be awesome to grab onto something and kick the shit out of it with your back paws?Sorry to respond to this so late!
Ha! I like his conversation with the cat-Minerva. I like the way her explorations describe their relationship. You have a great touch with the kitty mannerisms.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Thank you so very much. Setting is always the hardest for me to write, but I was pleased with how the setting and characterization were intertwined here. Sorry to respond to this so late!
Wow, that's striking. I like the way you describe her and the way he reacts once he reaches his stretching point.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Thanks so very much. I'm glad those parts spoke to you. Sorry to respond to this so late!
I liked the bit about cat!minerva being careful in her advancing years. None of us are kittens anymore!
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
*grins* Thanks so much for picking out my favorite details. :) If I were a kitty Animagus, I think I'd throw my back out arching it.
Severus must really be exhausted if he couldnt come up with at least one perverted thing Minerva could do to help him. Tee hee
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
*gigglesnort* I'm not sure I want to know what perversions Severus would get up to with kitty!Minerva. :)Sorry to respond to this so late!
Very intriguing... and do I detect just a bit of sexual tension? Anyway, good job. I like that this has been exclusively from Minerva's POV, and that she spends so much time in kitty form. Also the remarks about the hissing and growling, not to mention the catnip Albus effigy made me smile.
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Thank you!!! I thoroughly enjoyed writing Minerva in Animagus form. I'm quite jealous of her in that respect. Glad you liked the catnip Albus. I would LOVE to watch my cats shred one of those .:) Thanks for the review. I hope you enjoy the rest!

Well done. The dialogue is very real; even the sappy bits.
Author's Response: *looks around for sappy bits* What sappy bits? :P Thanks though. :D
Brava! You wrote such a wonderful tale of two friends who are much more than friends, and the comfort and joy they can find with and in each other.
Beth
"Exhausted, Severus?" Her hands left his, one stroking his back, its counterpart returning to his thigh. She turned to look at him, holding her breath in anticipation. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Beth
I'm so happy that Severus realized Minerva had been "hugging" their photograph. That small glimmer of mirth in his voice told her that he was happy that she had found it.
Beth
"She had expected he might wrench himself away from her touch and was startled when he turned to pull her into a desperate embrace. She pursed her lips and blinked back tears. It would not do to allow her emotions to spill over."
Well done, PJ! This scene was so unexpected that it took my breath away.
Beth
I am releived that Minerva was able to wiggle her way back to him. I think it will do them both a world of good. More please?
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Well, of course Sprinkles managed to wiggle her way back! I'm finally writing again, so there will be more someday. Perhaps not of this... but I'd like to write Minerva and Snape again.
I am hoping Severus isnt THAT tired. Maybe a quickie??
Response from pyjamapants (Author of Minerva's Watch)
Well, you know, with Severus there is no such thing as a quickie... He's VERY thorough.
