Harry is very disappointed that Severus’ portrait at Hogwarts remains devoid of its intended occupant, but Severus Snape has another option.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

i love how you kept him in character as the snarky pm we know and love. lovely story. thanks and many smoochies

Thank you very much. I do try to keep him snarky.
I like the way Severus and Hermione can be together in her– their– flat, and that they have collaborated on the new Advanced Potions and Draughts. The paintings that Hermione commissioned for Severus fairly spoke of a loving friendship, perhaps more, between the snarky Potions Master and the Know-It-All.I wonder if Severus will ever allow Harry to be told that he "lives" in the paintings at Hermione's home? LOL! Great answer to the prompt, Bea!Beth

Yep, a nice home, and acknowledgement, plus someone to talk to. I thought he'd appreciate that.I'd like to think that's how he sees it. Who knows?Since Harry is trying to reachout to him and Hermione is Harry's friend, I'm sure the guys will. Again, who knows?Thank you for the review, Beth, I'm glad that you liked this one.
Ingenious idea of having a certain Poitions Master as one's partner-in-paint. Briliant, clap, clap, clap!

Thank you very much. And thank you for reading and the for the review.
I love his way of trying to read over her shoulder, and then pretending he grant her a wish by accepting her reading aloud. That is so like him. Wonderfully done.

Thank you very much.
Very interesting. I would like to see more of this. Does anyone know where Severus spends his time? How did this relationship between Severus and Hermione develop? How did she coax him into her paintings? *sigh... Thanks for the good read. Sara
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Painted Domain)
You are very welcome. I'll leave all those questions to your imagination. I would assume though that the artists who paint the magical portraits use magic to allow the imprint of the departed to enter the painting, so like the other paintings, Severus can come and go between his frames as he pleases. Trick or Treat, sara. thank you for the review.
Love it, Bea. Why would he want to hang out at Hogwarts and tolerate Dumbledore's interference in the afterlife? With Hermione he has the perfect social and intellectual partner, so sensitive to his needs that she commissioned paintings to provide his continued enjoyment in the afterlife. Great job.

Aw, that's so sweet of you! Thank you for the lovely compliment. Trick or Treat.
Though I would have prefered for Hermione to have the alive Potions Master, this was a very good alternative:-))
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Painted Domain)
Thank you. Me too. But, I was going for full DH compliant. *shrug* Thank you very much for the review.
For me, this is an SS/HG relationship I feel very comfortable with - and quite believable. it sounds as though they've become true friends and that's perfect. Poor Harry, though, he'll just never quite get it, will he? This is going into my favorites. Thank you for the middle of the night treat !!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Painted Domain)
Yes, in a way it's a SS/HG friendship. I'm glad that you found it believable, that's a nice compliment. I think Harry will figure it out eventually. You are very welcome, and I am flattered that you've made this a favorite. Thank you for the review.
Very cute, I liekd it a lot!

What Hermione did for him was nice.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Painted Domain)
Thank you. Yes, he deserved more than a chair, IMHO. lolThank you for the reveiw.
Love that he had a nicer place to go. But really, what did he expect? They all have chairs, don't they?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Painted Domain)
I think there might have been other reasons than just the furnishings. LOL Thank you for reading and the review.
