Oh, wow. That was amazing ... Really an amazing ride from beginning to end. I can't believe how much you were able to pack into it. Loved all of it, but this line, in particular, made my chest ache:She looked small and helpless, and he wanted to take her into his arms and reassure her that he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her. Instead, he said, “I have to leave..."Absolutely perfect! Oh! And a bat Patronus! Guess how much I love that?!

I'm relieved that you like it. It's not an exactly easy subject matter, but I thought to show that things that happen can be seen in a positive light.Oh, yeah, the bat Patronus... What else would it be? LOL

I love it when a prompt that is so not SS/HG is twisted around to become one! LOL. This was a sweet story. My favorite part was when she smushed all her words together about not wanting to love Severus.
