An interesting drabble; I enjoyed it.  But I wonder why you chose The Marauders to walk him to the gates--  I would think that role should be his mother's or Dumbledore's or even Lily's since they were all people he cared about (or at least respected) in life. 

Sounds like the Marauders have calmed down a bit.  Death suits them! :)

I like how you made Snape's final magicall act as him changing from Black to White robes. Great Job.
