Born: in the glorious year of 1979, when Dio joined Black Sabbath and Peter Pettigrew started passing on information to the Dark Lord
Colours: black, green, silver
Passions: writing, cooking, baking, witchcraft
Obsessions: quite a few, chocolate for one (hi Lupin!), but mainly a certain Potions master and a blond DE.
When I am not writing alone, I co-write with my favourite Ravenclaw star_girl. Look for sevs_starsisters to find our stories.
Published writer since 2014. Original fiction is good fun, but I find myself returning to fan fiction every now and then

Need more tissues. More chocolate. More wine. Sniffles.

*hands over more tissues and chocolate, loads of chocolate*
Beautiful, as always.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Thank you. I am glad you liked it. /M
Sad, of course. But also comforting, poetic and beautiful. Just as Autumn itself. Is the woman from one of your stories I haven't got around to reading yet?
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Glad you liked it.I didn't give the woman a name because I wanted you readers to choose your favourite girl for Severus. But in my mind, it's Morgaine from my very first story with the name Morgaine's Story. (Hence my pen name, since that story was originally written in diary form.)
Oh how sad. At least he was remembered with love.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Just as we will remember him, right?Thank you for reading and leaving a note. /M
who is she? I re-read and re-read, I've no clue.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
When I wrote the story, I had Morgaine in mind: her hair always reminded Severus of dancing flames (the leaves of the tree) and it always smelled of sandalwood and honey (there is the scent of spices and honey in the air). However, I wanted to leave the question open for you readers. Let the woman be someone you'd like to be by Severus' side. Cheers. /M
*Sniff* Pass the tissues, please... It's hard when happiness is cut short like this. Again you have me bawling. I know it's your life's work, but...
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
*hands over yet another hankie* If you email me your address, you'll get a box of tissues for Christmas, I promise. And yes, seeing someone vanish in the prime of their life is hard indeed. Too hard./M
Beautiful imagery, befitting the season, but sad as well. Excellent job, Ms. Dulac.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Thank you very much. The whole piece fitted yesterday's mood perfectly. It came straight from the heart. /M
I nearly cried for their unfished story. Just wonder whe she is.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
I thought I'd leave it open who she is. I had Morgaine in mind when I wrote the story, but if you'd like her to be someone else, it's fine with me. (Just don't tell me if you make her HG, hehe). Thanks for the shinies. /M
Incredibly moving... just lovely.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Thank you very much! /M
Oh dear, never good when a Sunday morning starts with me & tears ... still, at least I've got the chicken in the oven for roasting before I started reading this. Your words are so beautiful and so haunting. I defy any true Severus fan not to be moved by this :-)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
*hands over a hankie* Sorry,
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
.When's the chicken served? 'cause I LIKE chicken!
I would also say that I am a succer for happy endings, but it is often the sad and beatiful stories that leaves the bigger impact and are remembered the longest
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Thank you for you kind word. Means a lot! /M
wonderful, as are all your writing. So sad and yet also some hope ( I can't express it better english is not my language) For me it is Morgaine
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Yay, two votes for Morgaine :)
Touching. The name is still withheld. Am I missing a clue? Is it Morgaine from "Always by Your Side?"
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
I my mind, yes, the woman is Morgaine. But it could just be anyone. I wanted to leave it up to every reader to decide who they would like the woman to be.Cheers. /M
Very sad, morgaine.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Took a hankie or two to write it, too :'(
This was beautiful. And I can identify with your lady not washing his cloak. That would be the final snipping of the cord, yes? When she is ready, it will happen. Loved it.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
I hope she will be ready one day, for her sake. Letting go is so difficult.I am very glad you liked this little piece. It means a lot to me. /M
I like that you left this without a name for 'her'. It allows the reader to fill in whomever pops into their mind. Very touching reading.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Last Rays of the Autumn Sun)
Allowing the readers tho name the woman herself was exactly my idea. I know that many readers on this site are devoted SS/HG shippers. I don't sail that ship, personally, but wish fair winds to all who do.I'm glad you liked the little piece enough to read it and leave a note. Thank you. /M
*sniff* *sniff*
