Hello There! My name is Karen and I live right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Way back in 2006 when we needed to put "Half-Blood Prince" spoilers on our fics... when DH didn't even exist... I created my profile here on The Petulant Poetess.
Falling in love with the SS/HG Ship changed my life and allowed me to be in a position to save the site from extinction in 2019. I'm so grateful to be here and to continue to see the wonderful fic here live on for as long as possible.

Hey Neelix! Thanks so much for the review!I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It's actually a some-what true story... My husband pulled the same stunt on me only it wasn't my birthday, it was our "other anniversary" and we had huge plans with some friends of ours. He overslept, then had to deal with the place he bought my ring from. Since he knew he was running late he tried to buy me flowers at 5:30pm on a Saturday night... It was a mess!Then after he got home he wanted to take a shower and I flipped out on him and he proposed while I was seething mad. And I said the exact same thing to him."You realize you won't be able to use this to get out of an argument again..."Much Love ~Brena
