Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

Oh dear! Id0 hope it's not too late.
"All that we see or seemIs but a dream within a dream."Definately an unusual resolution to the 'mystery'.Thanks, I enjoyed it.
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thank you
That was a fun little story, and you managed the reality/unreality divergence beautifully, although I had to think hard to comprehendit. There is one small query - in the Conclusion, Hermionementions the "inconstancies" in her behaviour, but I think youmean "inconsistencies"? The latter makes a bit more sense. And I loved your little dig at AR - "a bit old, but he's got something"!
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thanksyes, that's a typo. Thanks for pointing it out
oh my heavens! what a hootfull explaination of the phenominon! you totally rock! smoochies forever!
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thank you
This is a great conclusion to your story! I loved that Severus rode the Muggle train back to Scotland with the author of our beloved books.Yay! This a been such a fun read. Thank you. Beth
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thank you
And just how depraved and perverted the sex-mad, middle-aged Muggle author is? That is the big question of the day... *grin*
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
she's not saying :)
Fun and entertaining. Thanks for sharing.
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thanks, glad you enjoyed it
Oh. Oh dear. It was lovely until we had the crossing over with JK Rowling... good grief. And Severus Snape making pizza?????
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Don't do crossovers, sorry, and you were warned for silliness.and he can enjoy cooking like anyone else - he likes pizza, why wouldn't he want to make the real thing to show hermione what she was missing?
Response from HermioneJeanSnape (Reviewer)
Well, by crossover I meant the weird entanglement between our world and the HP world. And yes, warned for silliness but... I dunno, pizza seems very unSnapeish. It seems like he'd sneer at that "greasy American invention"
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
I see thank you for explaining what you meantPizza is Italian, a working class dish which people (in the Campagnia, anyway, where I saw it) pick up on the way to work, Real pizza, with real tomatoes and real mozzarella is very tasty and not greasy. If Severus explored foreign parts during his 'free years' i don't see why he wouldn't have discovered some of the great dishes of the world - or wanted to impress hermione with his cooking.
It's very nice of all the fangirls to have just stared. After all they could have asked for signatures, or worse photos with the illustrious Potions Master. *grin*
And I'm very glad for the last chapter which, I'm sure, will end the story quite nicely.
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Well, of course, he only looked like Severus as far as they were concerned:)thank you
These are all amazing:) You're one of my favorite authors anyway, and every new story you post simply makes me remember that and admire you all over again:)Warm regards,Fizzabella
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thank youone more to go :)
*smile* I can so easily imagine Sev being exasperated by noise. Plus, I'm sure a comfortable sofa will be more convenient -and private- given the right mood and circumstances...
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
I'm sure he'd find it as infuriating as I do.thanks for the review
I do hope he will feel better afterwards. Else, he's just found himself a new nurse...
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Indeed - or something like that :)
They went on a date. *giggling like a mad woman*I love this! Can't wait for chapter three. :D
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Severus was pretty sure it was, anyway.Thank you.
I must admit I read this on LJ after reading chapter one on TPP. I had to know how this great story turned out... immediate gratification, you know? But I digress. It's wonderful to see the beginning and growth of their 'fledgling relationship'. Funny how Hermione didn't consider their outing a date, however much she wished it was.Excellent, quality, compelling writing, Melusin!
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thanks - no she didn't consider it a date. Friends go out for a drink and a visit to the pictures, too. third part is with beta at last

Cool, Snape owning a DVD-Player - it's him, isn't it? And cool, two, how everything played out. The whole healing process and the following was quite interesting and really well thought out, too.
Author's Response: Thank you - as for the DVD player, we shall see...
Oh, this is so good! I hope she can Apparate both of them somewhere safe and warm before Severus becomes worse. I'm looking forward to the next update to find out!Beth
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Thank you :)
Mysterious up until the funny (?) ending. I didn't expect that. Maybe he's just napping while his powers are recharging. Ah, yeah, riiight. Now I'm eager to read your movie and exhibition fics! Bring 'em on!
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Thanks - will be updating soon
Ah well, best laid plans and such... I think this is what they mean by a little knowledge being a dangerous thing. Poor Severus. At least Hermione's on the ball, she'll get him through. :D
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
He's a bit desperate and clutching at strawsthanks for reviewing
Oh dear. Looks like he needs her help whether he wasnts it nor not. :)
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
Yeah, he does.

Great idea, and great beginning! At least I hope it is a beginning and you won't stop here? I'm not sure I understood your note correctly ;o).
So typical for Severus leading her on a paper chase, though, instead of asking her right away and saving himself some time. *g*
Author's Response: Thanks - I received three prompts which I managed to link together. the next one follows on from here.
He can't say anything about Dumbledore being rash in putting the ring on anymore. Great start, I can't wait for the next installment.
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
no indeed but then he's pretty desperate
Oh, great beginning... with a nice little cliffie to boot! I'll definitely be back for more!
Response from melusin (Author of Merlin's Amulet)
thank you
Loved it! I really loved the museum setting. Can't wait for the next chapter.
