Reviews for Iron Chef Hogwarts--Familiar Edition
A fitting end for a rat, thank you Crooks.

I couldn't help myself with the rat loaf!
Oooog! Not what I should think about before lunch! LOL! But very funny! And of course, Crookshanks won again! Yay! Loved the four little paws, one of them silver. *evil grin* Yep, Crooks is a bona fide hero in that one!

I couldn't find a "gross food/rat" warning. But thanks for the review! Crookshanks is not about to lose in his dreams.
It seems this cat has excellent and very satisfying dreams.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
Heh, heh. You even got the squid in there.

And he wasn't an ingredient! Thanks for the review.
I absolutely love Iron Chef, so this story was the greatest ever! Severus in the role of the Chairman was perfect; I wish you would have included some of the judges' remarks regarding the dishes, though. That's one of the best parts of the old IC episodes, seeing the chefs explain things like, "normally when making these noodles you use eggs, but I used lobster brains instead" and those Japanese actresses making comments such as, "the flavors dance around my mouth and make me happy"! Still, I imagine the giant squid never says much anyway...Crookshanks rules!

Thank you for the fabulous review. I thought of the commentary, but since they were intense cats using rat, well. I'm glad you liked it.
With his presentation of Ratloaf a la Pettigrew (or should that be Pettigrew Loaf ala Crookshanks?), how could Crooks possibly lose?Well, maybe if he had decided to include Ratball Shiskabob as one of his dishes... that might have been too much even for judges that suffered through Norris' Rat a la Mode!

Ah, a sense of humor after my own heart. I never thought of Ratball Shiskabob.
ROFL! :)

Glad you liked it!
Makes me think of Terry Pratchett's dwarfs with their "rat cuisine"; as demonstrated in Nanny Ogg's Cookbook (rat onna stick)... hysterically funny... Your series of Crookshanks and his dreams have a Secret Life of Walter Middy feel to them.

Thank you! I love Crookshanks. He is the hero of many of my other stories as well.
