I'm a 20-something-year-old wanna-be author. Unfortunately real life doesn't leave much time for anything. I'm married with two dogs and a cat and work helping the mentally disabled.
I joined the Harry Potter fandom a few years ago and it's pretty addictive!

So, is it Hermione? Or Ginny? Nice cliffie. Tell us immediately... please.

You'll have to wait until the next chapter to find out.Thank you for the review :)
Hummm,... I'm guessing that it is Hermione, although there are many clues that make me wonder about another. Once again you've woven a delightful chapter to completely make me second guess myself. I'm not at all sure that it is Hermione, but I can't really think of anyone else it could be.I can't wait for the next chapter to post!@Beth

Well, I'm hooked! This Prologue is brilliant with invisible hooks to snare the unwary reader. Good job!Beth

To be honest, I'm chewing on the sentence "Charlie felt a magic barrier come up and knew Severus was trying to keep him from killing his own flesh and blood."As Charlie was able to perfrom healing magic on Ron, Ron couldn't be the "flesh and blood" Snape was trying to prevent Charly from killing. Or is this "flesh and blood" reference not meant literally? I hope so, or Ron's “You don’t know who it is, do you?” would get a whole other meaning. But at other passages you have hinted at Hermione to be Aurelia. Hermione torn between the two Dragons?Well, you certainly made me read bothe chapters twice this evening. It is a well thought of beginning to a story. *applauds*

I thought that sentence might be confusing... It's explained in the next chapter a little more.Thank you for the review :)
Interesting. Trust Ron to be a prat to the end. He is just lucky both Snape and Charlie were there to save his butt! Can't wait to see if my suspicions about the Auralia are true or not.
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)
Ah, gotta love Ron acting like a prat. And the Aurelia is revealed the next chapter.Thank you for the review :)
I take it Hermione is the woman they are looking for?
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)
You'll find out in the next chapter.Thank you for the review.
I liked it. So far the story seems well thought out. One question... Should I fasten my seat belt?
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)
Depends on whether you think you need one.Thank you for the review :)
Cool prophecy, please, please, please, let Hermione's baby's daddy be Severus. Now, wasn't that a lot of possessives? Lol, wonderful start, I can't wait to read more.
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)
I can't make any promises :)Glad you liked the beginning and thanks for the review :)
If all witches and wizards desced from Aurelia, what happened to the child of the Egyptian man? The one that had magic 'like' Aurelia's? S/he didn't have children? My guess is that it's Hermione, the Aurelia of this time.
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)
She did. When Aurelia married the man, the child became part of her family, so the child's descendants are descendants of Aurelia as well.And...you'll see who the Aurelia is in the next chapter. Thanks for the review :)
Poor Ron. Never had a chance! :)
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)
Nope. Ron's not a leading man in my mind. Thanks for the review :)
Oh, I like Charlie with Hermione. This is really interesting.
Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)

Response from carley9 (Author of Waiting for Magic)

Wow. Very interesting beginning. All their magic gone. Does that mean only in Britain, or is it further? Can't wait for more.
