Awww. If your Harry could figure it out, why didn't JKR? Harry and Hermione are really suited to each other, IMO. They're morally and tempermentally suited much better than Ron/Hermione.

It was a wonderful story, and since you made sure that there were no Hermione/Ron pairing, I guess I am satisfied with Harry (but only since Severus aint around:-)))Very well written!!!
