Narcissa made her way through the crowd in measured steps, occasionally stopping to exchange a few words, but mostly just nodding a greeting in passing.

Makes me want to go in the kitchen and try some of he dishes. You wouldn't happen to have the recepee of the chichen by any hasard?
Response from karelia (Author of Tea Party at the Manor)
*grins*It's a very simple dish: Wash chicken fillets and pat dry. Pour melted butter over the fillets, then turn in a mixture of dried herbs (I tend to use rosemary, thyme, a little bit of oregano) and salt and black pepper. Fry over medium heat in butter until cooked.Thank you for reviewing!
Very lovely. Thanks for sharing. /M

Thank you!
Very lovely. The food and wine details were sumptuous. So was the tension between Narcissa and Severus. Just yummy in all areas.

Thank you for your kind words!I'm so relieved that the tension came across!
Needless to say that reading something like the n e a r-fatal bite always makes me happy. I also like the tenderness and consideration among the three of them. A story to my liking. Lovely.

I'm not a big Malfoy fan, but I still enjoyed this little fantasy. Nicely and tastefully done, although so tasteful that now I want to go eat at a good restaurant.

I'm glad you enjoyed it despite your dislike for the Malfoys,

I'm glad Severus shared Cissy's desire as well. Lovely as always, dear!

*laughs* It's not mine either, and I was quite surprised how well it worked... Thanks for the review! *pats the shinies*
i enjoyed this story very much. i kinda like the way you write narcissa. :) but i have far too dirty a mind to read a line like this: "She smiled politely, patted a couple of cocks in passing, and wandered through the crowd ..." seriously, am i supposed to be thinking about peafowl when i read that? ;)
Response from karelia (Author of Tea Party at the Manor)
I'm happy you enjoyed it! And thank you for your kind words on writing Narcissa! She's been sort of in my head lately; I wonder why...I just about cracked up when you mentioned that line. When I did the first edit, I laughed and wondered how many people would catch on to it. Yes, you did come to mind :))Thank you for that lovely review!
And it's great! I'm glad I found it finally. Can't believe I missed it when you posted. Weehee... Finally Cissy gets some fun.

*contented sigh* I'm sooooo glad you like it! When you challenged me to write Cissy with both Lucius and Severus, I shook my head and thought I'd never manage that. But the characters talked to me, and this came out. I'm glad it did, and boy, do I know a lot about peafowl now, LOL!
