I'm a Michigander who works from home, keeps my husband in line, and raises two wild, wonderful daughters. I write so I don't go insane.

I don't know why I missed this one. Brilliant answer to the prompt! *applauds
Wow, it's nice to see Snape have one day to himself in peace!
so close, and yet so far! i'm on lake michigan, too, but "clear water and endless white sandy beach" is soooo obviously not describing the chicago side!! dang, albus, a little more to the left next time, okay? lol :)

I admit, I looked through beach pictures from the year I was five to see if a tall, pale, beaky man had shown up in any of them.. LOL!
I want one of those bottles! :)
Being only a half hour from Lake Michigan, it was fun to imagine Snape vacationing so near! *g* I'm sure he would have loved it!

I'm a native Michigander as well, also living very close to Lake Michigan. :D PJ Hoffmaster State Park was where I imagined he'd ended up :)
If he needs someone to put the sunblock on his back... Please do note that I said it first.

Cutey-cute! :o) And just the rigth equipment for this day... oh how I wish to live not THAT far away from the sea or something similar *sighs*.
Aww... I kinda wanted to see that cannonball. ^.^ It was a lovely snippet, though, and your description was fantastic!
Hee hee. Severus really did deserve this "day at the beach," but I can see him not letting Albus know how much he enjoyed it. After all, he has his reputation to protect. LOL!

I can just imagine him scowling at Albus in the evening: "Whatever gave you the idea I would enjoy this, Headmaster?" hehe
Absolutely lovely. Severus deserved a day off at the beach.
Tee hee, he had beer? Awesome! Your description sounds so lovely it makes me want to go too.
I have decided that Snape doing a cannonball is something I want to see, LOL.
Thanks for sharing some relaxation with us. =o)
