Haha.Serves him right.Twelve years with a hazelnut-sized brain didn't do well to his common sense, eh?Question is: Made the toad do the snakeman arrange that or did he come up with this plan all by himself? However: I am sure, Madam Hem-hem is going to find him and make him write "I will not flee from my wedding" until he either gives her a proper snog or bleeds to death by her infamous quill. Don't you agree?I like it that you didn't say her name, btw.And you seem to have a thing for unusual pairings! Well done! Especially for a first shot.

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

Very clever.  Peter is shortsighted in his expectations.  Is that part of the package of rodent animagus?  Anyway, Peter and Dolores are perfect for each other, sycophantic toadies the both of them.  Well done.

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :)

I'm just slightly frustrated to not know who the bride is. But congratulations on your first try.

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

Thanks! BTW, I thought for sure everyone would get the bride's identity from that distinctive, "Hem, hem!" Anyhoo, the bride was none other than Dolores Umbridge. A frog for a rat, a match made in... er, well. Thanks for reviewing!

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

Thanks! And I'm batting around a few ideas for the companion piece right now... I should have something ready in a day or two. Thanks for taking the time to review!

Just the pick me up i needed today!  wow, maybe Peter just needs to read Wind in the Willows to realize they can be great pals. As FruGal Pointed out in her review, they should get along fine!  Thank you so much for this splendid farce!  really well done!

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

I think a copy of Wind in the Willows would make a fine wedding present for Peter and the new Mrs. Pettigrew, don't you? Maybe then he'd see that his, um... blushing bride really is the perfect witch for him. LOL

And thanks Pooka, for the compliment... it means alot coming from a talent such as yourself. And thanks for reviewing!

Oh, my GOD!! They certainly deserve each other! (of course, I knew from the start that whatever Peter was going to get, it wouldn't be what he'd hoped for!)

This is hilarious! :-D

(Oh, but poor Hermione -- I hope she can manage to give Voldie more than he'd barganed for!)

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

They really do deserve each other! Although I'm sure Peter doesn't see it that way. And thanks! As for Hermione, I'm bouncing around a few ideas for her and Severus. Thanks for taking the time to review!

Why did Peter run? I think a rat and a frog make a great pair. And if Peter doesn't like the green robe, I bet she has plenty of pink robes.

Response from MuseAmusant (Author of A Present for Peter)

I'm sure you're right... a rat and a frog make a perfect pair, Peter just hasn't realized it yet! LOL Thanks for reviewing!
