Riply has quite an attitude I think he is a great addition to this story.  Leafer seems sweet and I hope she is what she seems.  There was not nearly enought Severus in this chapter for me, but I still enjoyed this chapter very much.  I hope there will be another chapter very soon.  This is beautiful work.

After bearing up with Harry and Ron for so long, I would have thought Hermione is far more adept in reading "men" and understanding male language... as well, her reaction doesn't do her intelligence much credit.

I'm surprised by her reaction. Of course I don't have the back story, but I really think that the desire to protect her is a strong proof of love... Plus, knowing Snape he is probably not aware that he loves her, which would excuse his approach of things. I hope for their sake that she'll calmed down and analyze things the way she usually do, just to realize the huge mistake she's done. I'm sure he'll forgive her. After all, the make-up is always the best part of an argument. *wink*

This reminds me of that item on the "list of things men wish women knew':  If I say something that can have two meanings, and one of them makes you angry or sad, I meant the other one.Since most people do not habitually go about insulting others, that us usually true for men or women.  However, Snape has been know to be an habitual insulter in his day...
