Reviews for A Malfoy's Rumination
EXCELLENT!!!!!
Very nice - I love LM/HG stories, as you know. Any chance of a sequel...?
It's been a while I haven't had the pleasure to read you, and I can say you haven't lost your touch. Far from it actually. Lucius is so complex a person, it's really intresting to see the development of his thoughts.
I loved that the journal could change his words when he was not entirely honest, especially when he discovered how his view of her has changed without him even being conscious of it.
All of the previous babling to say I enjoy the story very much.
well done and very plausable given the characters. did enjoy his comments about severus. thanks so much
I'm guessing the journal was truth spelled. I really liked the concept and the lessons Lucius learned along the way.
Good story, Southern. Logical character development and I liked the feature of the journal that was charmed to make him scratch out his pearls of wisdom things he doesn't really believe deep down, and replace them with the truth. But Severus' absence was a shadow over the whole, and it made my heart ache to read Lucius' references to poor Snape.I refuse to believe the man is dead.You-Know-Who can just my about that!

I'll tell you what, it was very strange to write a story where Snape wasn't there. I was like... damn. :)
That was so very sweet. In a completely realistic and understandably Slytherin way, of course. I especially liked Lucius' last entry. Here I am, sitting at my computer in the middle of the night saying (aloud!), "Aww..." :) Thanks for sharing this wonderful story!!

LOL! Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. :)
It's nice to see a natural progression of Lucius and Hermione's relationship, and how he went from hating her to caring for her. Lovely. Brava!

Thank you. :)
Wonderful story, you really had a brilliant grasp on Lucius as a person and wrote his "developement" in a excellent way. Very well done!

I appreciate that. Thanks so much. :)
Brilliant! I just love this story. The method of telling, with Lucius' own thoughts bared for his consideration was wonderful.

I do enjoy "journal" stories. :) Thank you!
Thanks for a lovely story!
Gee, I just realized I never left a review. I thoroughly enjoy this story and read it when I want a dose of snarky-Lucius to pick up my spirits. It's a favorite on my Kindle. Still one of my favorites.

Aw!!! Thank you. :)
A very enjoyable read!
The journal idea was very good, and I thought his memories of Snape were quite touching, and had the ring of true affection, and I loved it that he couldn't lie in his entries, hence couldn't lie to himself, which would be a wake up for most of us, I think!
A lovely read, thank you!
Just caught the rec for this on the PP FB page, and LOVE how you've used correspondence (and the spells on the journal) to convey *so much* character development in this story--not just Lucius', but everyone around him, too! :DThank you for sharing!
