Reviews for Lily Between the Lines
Magical personification with the ghost/flower of Lily--I enjoyed this--surreal yet a more fleshed out, bittersweet depiction of her--a dash of flavoured bitterness, cynicism, a glimpse of naughtiness and fire, a sliver of regret and the tiredness of perpetual existence--in other words, enjoyed her fuller humanity being shown--lovely, lovely work!

Thank you for those comments. I did try to suggest all of that with a few lines of dialogue. A sparse conversation with a dried flower. A woman robbed of life before she had lived.
Thats is beautiful. I love how Lily discover the events that took place after her death by the eye of that girl. Her great great great grand daughter or something. This a very fantastic reponse of the prompt that I enjoy very much.

Thank you very much. It could be more balanced, but I wanted to get in the rougher side of Lily.
Definitely a different take on the sainted Lily Evans Potter. But I think your take on Lily sounds somewhat more realistic ... judging by the little glimpses we got of Harry's parents from time to time, I don't see Lily being quite as perfect as some thought she was. Rather like James.

Thanks for a sympathetic review. I keep thinking that someone who left their family, became Head Girl, befriended Severus, married James, and fought the Dark Lord is not all sweetness and light
Not a very favorable look at Lily. Her reactions are interesting.

Lily is roused after a long period of being comatose. Apparently, she’s not a morning person. In some ways, if her reactions are interesting, then it is a flattering portrait.
What an interesting story! It's a very imaginative use of the prompt - great fic!

The idea to try depicting the other side of Lily came out of the blue, and I decided to try it.
I really like this, just as I like everything I've read from you. You always do something entirely unexpected, and yet it always fits the prompt perfectly. To offer such consistently unexpected, high quality writing is quite a feat. *applauds*

Thank you for all the kind comments, and I'm glad you liked the stories.
Interesting concept! :)

Thanks. I wanted to portray a girl murdered in her early twenties: full of the turmoil of the times and her own sharp opinions.
