I see you over there

Don't pretend that you don't care

I'm just like you

I do everything you do

Hey hazel eyes

I'm just your daughter; you don't see

It's just me; I just want to be free

Just pretend to know who I am

'Cuz hazel eyes

I know you don't give a damn

I try to listen

But hazel eyes

When you yell; these tears glisten

I know you see them on my face

Don't they seem out of place

I won't let you order me around
