I started exploring fanfiction after the depression and withdrawal following the publication of Deathly Hallows. I generally ship Severus and Hermione, but have a fondness for Severus and Minerva.

I have a husband and son. They love basketball, and I love fanfiction. We kindly allow each other our obsessions.

So I guess the Snapes have normal kids; They want to be just like their parents and nothing like their parents all at once. Very sweet.

What an interesting one-shot from the POV of Hermione and Severus' children. I can almost see Severus "spying" on Cass and Nigel. What a hoot! And Alexander is the typical son choosing to go his own way despite what his father says. 8^)I loved seeing how very much in love and filled with passion Hermione and Severus still are. Thanks, Beth! I thought it would be fun to have Hermione and Severus be "typical" too-involved parents and their kids be "typical" complainers about their parents. But it all works with love at home, doesn't it? :)

Ooh, I loved it! I loved the opening - I did a double take at the names, so convinced I'd been that I was initially reading about Snape and Hermione. And then to see them at the end - the perfect little glimpse of their life - was just lovely. Well done!

It's sweet the way they're bickering at each other but then it's the little nuances: the loving look, the hands on the shoulder, the kiss as he removes her cloak, that show the love between the two. Lovely job.

It seemed realistic to think that with Severus and Hermione's strong personalities that they would bicker a bit. But a little bickering doesn't keep you from having a loving marriage. I'm so glad you commented on that!

Snape family! I love this so much!! And the first drabble was perfect Not telling their names so that we thought it was Severus and Hermione, just to show how similar to them their kids are! Very nice!! :D
