Born: in the glorious year of 1979, when Dio joined Black Sabbath and Peter Pettigrew started passing on information to the Dark Lord
Colours: black, green, silver
Passions: writing, cooking, baking, witchcraft
Obsessions: quite a few, chocolate for one (hi Lupin!), but mainly a certain Potions master and a blond DE.
When I am not writing alone, I co-write with my favourite Ravenclaw star_girl. Look for sevs_starsisters to find our stories.
Published writer since 2014. Original fiction is good fun, but I find myself returning to fan fiction every now and then

A perfect ending to this series. Such a hopeful afterlife. It made me smile.

Glad it made you smile after all the sniffles.
Thank goodness I have found this story! The tale of Cassandra and Severus is one of my all-time favourite fanfiction although I cannot bear to re-read it all too often because of her death. Now I can, knowing there is a reunion at the end, thank you!

, I am very flattered to have made it onto your all-time favourite fanfiction list with Cassandra ans Severus. I grew rather fond of them myself. Shame that my muse is such a sadist, otherwise Cassandre might just have made it.
Wahh! A sweet addition to your story. I loved the part about how time worked differently. What possibilities that would have. And to be able to see a grandchild, or more. Such exciting possibilities. But, of course, the best part is that they are once again reunited... this time forever.

I very much like the idea of being "everywhere" after death. It seems such a pity to miss out on what your loved ones are up to.Glad you liked my little "goodbye piece"./M
Very nice and a very peaceful ending. Now, will he be re-born again?
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Reunion)
Hm .... *brain just started working* ;-)
that's what we all hope for...eternity with our beloved. thanks so much

And thank YOU for reading and leaving a comment./M
Thank you for this, dear M - what a lovely and unexpected treat! It is one of those (dare I say it) rare fics (or conclusions) that offers hope.I really would like to think that the 'afterlife' is like this; where you can be reunited with those you have loved and be aware of what is happening to the loved ones left behind. Wouldn't it be wonderful, eh?! So much nicer than the thoughts of so-called heaven or eternal 'hell'. (The former with seemingly such high entry criteria that almost no one would qualify and the latter as punishment for what? Purely existing?!)I love the idea that Severus and Cassandra are now reunited. It was a beautiful way to round off two of the most beautiful stories written on this site (no modest blushing please!) :-)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Reunion)
Would never blush modestly. Jumping around in the bedroom, going "yay" is more my style ;-)I, too, like this idea of the afterlife. And I like the idea of our loved ones still being there, looking out for us and waiting for us when we die. It's a very comforting thought./M

This is a wonderful conclusion of your wonderful story and its sequel. I was rather sceptic at first, as stories about the afterlife and such can be quite - well, strange and sometimes feel just wrong. But you give us a version that souns very believable and very realistic, and one, that works perfectly with your whole story setting.
Author's Response: Danke schön, Alcina.
I seem unable to let go of Severus and Cassandra, but I think I am getting there now. And I hope they will be happy together, wherever they are.
Cheers. /M
This is a strangely satisfying conclusion to a wonderful story. May you please us with many more Severus fics! :D

There is no way I can keep my fingers off the dear Potions master. There are plot bunnies nibbling at my toes as we speak.Cheers. /M
Very sweet, and lovely.

Check out the two stories that lead up to this, The Way Home and A Gift of the Goddess.
Oh, so sweet! You know how much I love your story about Severus and Cassandra. I'm so glad that they met in afterlife and he can be comforted again...OK, tears. I'll stop here.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Reunion)
Naw, sweetie, don't cry. Hankie? :-)
Grandpa Sev! Oh he would make an awesome grandpa!
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Reunion)
I recommend you read the stories that lead up to this piece: The Way Home and A Gift of the Goddess.

I'm getting there
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Reunion)
And don't read the Christmas Edition of the Way Home yet. It's full of spoilers!
Response from MrsAstoriaMalfoy (Reviewer)
As you wish, professor.
So glad they're together again. I didn't like Severus dying, but you've now given me a good-enough reason. Obviously, I even less liked Cassandra dying in the first place.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Reunion)
I would write their story very differently nowadays. Back then, death and misery fitted my mood.
