Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Thank you!
"Cup of tea, Hermione?" Oh, that was priceless! And the moral of the story is: don't try to out-spy a spy when you're not actually a spy. I can't wait until the next chapter...

I wondered if you were aware that the phrase "in loco parentis" is part of a teacher's creed? By Snape being a teacher in the first place, he assumed the role of "parent." I just thought it was rather interesting that you chose that particular phrase.

Indeed it is! Although for the sake of Severus's sanity, I think he wouldn't have considered himself as a father figure for Harry when he was still a teacher.
Oh dear... hiding out from an adoring public, and Harry Potter with hero-worship in his eyes... how horrid for Severus Snape! And Rita Skeeter in skimpy lingerie--I don't blame him for wanting to be Obliviated! Drastic measures for drastic times, and all that.Love the story so far, and am eagerly awaiting the next installment--if nothing else, it'll be fun to see who winds up getting on Sev's "guest list"...
