I am a slytherin in hufflepuff clothing.

I read therefore I am.

I write therefore I amuse myself.

As the "mother" of two Jack Russell Terrors – ahem, terriers – you have the animals pegged to a tee.

When my male terrier (the first one we got) was about 7 weeks old, he could still fit in the palm of my hand, but was somehow able to get onto the top of the bed (3.5 feet off the ground), chew the blankets, pull out the stuffing, and shred the pillow cases. When I returned home, I found him inside a ripped-open pillow, sleeping comfortably with only his nose visible. To this day if he is missing, I check my bed first and usually find him snoozing under the covers with his face buried in a pillow. Even right now he laying next to me on an old comforter, where he rolled himself up like a sausage with just his nose and one eyeball visible.

The female liked to chew wood. Preferably our brand new bookcase, entertainment center and dinette set. Oh, and the bitter spray they recommend you use to disuade the dog from chewing? She loved the taste, so it was like adding chocolate sauce to her sundae.

I can completely picture this scene. We chose to get our dogs to "practice" with before having our own kids. It's been almost 6 years and we can't bring ourselves to have kids yet.

Hee!  My son can't even crawl yet, and he needs a crate.  And yes, so does my husband.
