What can I say a 30 something mother of 1 who works as a clinical chemist in a path lab and has a 'thing', if its possible to have a 'thing' for a character, for a certain Potions Master.

RL has stalled the plot bunnies and I've no idea if/when I'll feel like writing again.

haunted by nightmares, a lost love, pregnant, blamed to just switch from one to another deatheater.. you gave her the bitter pill, didn't you.but you gave her friends, too. when the child is born, she will see the blessed side of life again, I hope.right now it will be more than an illusion to her.

Yes, I have made Hermione's life difficult right now, but you are right, she will know that she is loved by her friends and by Lucius.And she will always have a reminder of Severus, and as Lucius has said in the note, the child will know that theri father was a hero.Thanks for taking time to leave a comment.

I'm so sorry for her but it's good to know that she'll have someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on when she'll need it. Beautifully done, even if sad but that couldn't be helped I guess.

It's so sad that Hermione is left mourning Severus. Her sense of pain and loss is overwhelming, but at least she will have a part of him with her always... a fine son or daughter. And she has friends who will support her. Although Ron is having problems with her decision to associate herself with Lucius, he will come around. And she already has Harry's support, and Lucius will care for her and see that she and Severus' child are well cared for.Bittersweet and very nicely done, dear.S'Mum

Thanks, Mum.The prompt just screamed to me that Hermione had lost Severus and that she was receiving comfort from Lucius.Ron still has some growing up to do, but I'm sure he will pull through for Hermione when the time comes for Severus' child to enter the world.Lucius will be a great step-dad, he will certainly make sure that the child knows that their father was a hero.I'm so glad that you liked this bittersweet drabble.*hugs* S'Daughter x
