Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

Poor Lucius. At lesat he woke up in a place he understood.
Author's Response: Yes. He can relate to fine footwear. :)
THE surrounding for a Luscious Malfoy to return to his magical self.wow.And he takes the new status quo very much like a man who is used to do the right decision at the right time. or to align himself to the not so very bad situation he has been living in for six months now.you made a really nice nest for him, he has no reason to grumble. which he definitely doesn't do.

Lucius may be a snob, but he knows what side his bread is buttered on! :)
Did the spell just wear off, or did something trigger the return of everything?
Response from sunny33 (Author of Shoes, Glorious Shoes)
You know. I have no idea. Perhaps it was the shoes. Theres a lot of power in a good shoe, you know! :)
Response from elsolel (Reviewer)
I agree. Sometimes, you just have to wear the right shoe to make yourself feel right.
This is lovely! Mmmmh, Lucius and shoes *happy sigh* Will there be more of this? *bats eyelashes*

It's definitely a bunny waiting to be fed, isn't it? :)

LOL Glad you explalined abr! :)
At least he has a good end with Hermione at his side.

Yep! :)
What a facinating premise!

LOL. Thanks! :)
Lovely piece! I loved the way you integrated the Italian shoemakers in the beginning ... loved the interaction between the two - it's like a fragile thing, with a blossom of hope stuck in the mix. Of course, time would only tell if Lucius is genuine about wanting to change his ingrained ways and beliefs ... but of course, one cannot do that overnight ...

Where there are shoes, there is hope! :)
you should expand this. the possibilities are dazzling me.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Shoes, Glorious Shoes)
That thought had occurred to me! :)
LOL And here we all thought it was Narcissa with the passion for shoe-shopping! (G) Thanks for the giggle, ma'am - much appreciated. Cat

We know Lucius is the perfect consumer! :)
Great job! Glad to see he's not letting his old prejudices affect his possible chance at a relationship.

Thanks, deb! :)
Lucius is clever and mentally quick on his feet... the Slytherin knows a good thing when he sees it, and I not talking about shoes!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Shoes, Glorious Shoes)
Yes, he's no fool!)
Amazing shoes, sexy wizard?? What a lucky girl!!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Shoes, Glorious Shoes)
What else could you want? :)
Oh, I really like how Hermione handled the situation, first agreeing to teach him how to be Muggle and having the patience to go with him shopping for shoes! And Lucius, realizing that in fact things are looking up, the possibilities, if he only allow it to be. I mean, he seemed so much nicer than before: no raging, demanding, scowling, or throwing a fit. Definately some hope here...Good job.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Shoes, Glorious Shoes)
Hopefully he can truly abandon those ingrained prejudices. :)
That doesn't surprise me one bit that Lucius loves shoes. After all he's always been a fashion victim. Well done my dear.

Very Slytherin of Lucius, it's a brave new world out there and he's quick to capitalize on it. Good for them. Wonderful story, I enjoyed it.

Thanks! :)

Did you just call Draco a pansy for being cowardly? What about all the innocent flowers who will take offense at this careless, derogatory use of the word. Yeesh. Your beta must have sucked.
I mean, just look at it. Does it look like a coward to you?
Author's Response: It is mainly yellow... :P
