Thanks so much! Hagrid has a heart for nearly everyone and everything. I also know that it would be within Hermione's character to go back to look out for Harry so no harm would befall him.
That's good but who's the witch watching over Harry? I'm dead curious about her.

I had a teenaged Hermione in mind when writing about the girl. I figured watching Harry would be something she would go back in time to do.
So who was guarding Harry before Harrid took him? Was it a time traveller by any chance? hummm?

It was a time traveller. ;) I thought it would be something our dear Hermione would have done when she played with the Time-Turner.

This was a good story and I sure would like to see a few more chapters. How did AD know what happened to James and Lily Potter? Also, who was the young lady with Harry? What happened to Severus? Inquiring minds want to know. ;D

Thanks! I may think about writing a follow-up piece to this, but I'm kind of swamped right now. For the part about the young lady, I had a teenaged Hermione in mind, but really, she could have been anyone. =)

Oh, that's sweet and sad. I couldn't help but wonder if the girl was some kind of angel, the way she was sort of watching over Harry like that. Though I suppose no matter who she was, she might seem like an angel in that circumstance.
Author's Response: In that moment, she was their angel. I had Hermione in my mind when writing it, but it really could have been anyone. Thanks for reviewing, dear. =)

I thought I'd follow in JKR's footsteps here and keep him as the warm, loving Hagrid we all know and cherish. I had Hermione in mind since she played with the time turner in her youth. But you can decide who you want her to be. =)
So, who was the chick? I can definitely see Hagrid in tears before getting Harry.

I thought I'd let the reader decide who she is. But when I wrote that scene, I pictured a teenaged Hermione having gone back in time.
