Wow.  How very accurate you are with your words.I do think the manipulator pays a price.  They lose their ability to trust and ultimately their capacity for true intimacy.  That is a half-life; not someting to be envied.I think it is always better to have a heart open enough to feel the pain than a heart so hardened that it can not feel the love.Thanks for writing.
