Waiting after School's over is a sensible thing to do. That way that leave them 2 whole month to get used to each other before facing the students. How long before they are required to pop out babies, at least for her. Snape's part in the job will be less taxing. Or not... *grin*

Great chapter!  I had to laugh when they Apparated right on top fo each other.  Nothing like a little closeness to start things off on the right foot.  I thought they handled the realization that they are betrothed very well.  Besides, Severus like what he saw when he had collided with her outside the cafe, and she thought there could be worse things than marrying Severus Snape.This is going along beautifully so far.  I highly approve!*grins*Beth

I like their reactions, or lack of since their meeting was in a public place. I hope we get to find out what their actual reactions are once the inital shock wears off!

I loved that they literally 'ran' into each other!  I did think their meeting was a bit short.  Of course, they have some time to 'get to know each other better.'  It was nice that neither seemed too horrified about the other, and Severus thinking it surprising that she'd want to marry him was cute.

what did I say`the scene you have written was priceless.But they took it very well.She is going to marry him.Well, I think she fancied him before?or else she would have tried number 2 and 3 first.I would have.let's see what you have in mind with  the two.

sounds like muggle "parship" to me.yes, at 99 percent you are curious to meet the person. I would have died to at least have a look at him.poor girl, that HAS to marry someone.That is a real punishment. in mondern times! But I love these fictions. Thank you for the update! I really like this, and I found the way they reacted to be perfectly "normal" for those two. They know they have to get married to someone, it happens to be eachother, and since neither are of the "throwing tantrums" kind, at least not in public, they go on and try to make the best of it. This does not mean of course that I don't want to see sparks fly and passion shaking Hogwarths foundation....:-))

That was extraordinarily civil.  perhaps the shock will hit later LOL! :)

Have I mentioned I love marriage law stories? I'm enjoying the unfolding relationship between Severus and Hermione. I like how Hermione handles Severus' question about wanting to marry him. It's too soon and he would never accept she has any personal feelings toward him, yet. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I just finished reading the first two chapters.  I like your set up for this MLC fic.  Dumbledore as Minister was certainly a change, but it fits his meddlesome nature.  I like how you've set Hermione and Severus's relationship as being very formal.  And I like that Hermione is an adult in this fic.  They will have a little work to make their marriage work, won't they?

This should be fun.

This sounds like it's going to be a combination of the MLC and Yenta Livery Challenge.MLC with an older Hermione, which isn't married off to Severus because he's the only one able to protect her ... that sounds pretty good to me.I wonder what you will have in stock for your readers. Is the 99% match already Hermione and Severus, or are you going to prepare them for each other with horrible possible partners?I liked the opening chapter and am looking forward to the first "date".
