I am a slytherin in hufflepuff clothing.
I read therefore I am.
I write therefore I amuse myself.

Loved this! I would love to hear Draco say the line about their grandchildren wanting to know the story, and see Hermione's reaction!
I also love that they resisted the kiss, wisely knowing whether they'd be ready for it. Some things are better left for another time, better left simmering, so to speak. :)
This is a delightful peek into what became of Draco Malfoy. I'm happy that you've allowed him to begin coming to terms with his youth and the legacy of his upbringing. His meeting Hermione in San Francisco and giving her "the tour" was so sweet. Now I just want to know what happens on "May second, two thousand and eight. Eleven a.m." Wonderful!Beth

Thank you - I'm glad you liked it.As for sequel - I can't make any promises, but Iwouldn't rule it out, either.
Will there be a sequel that is the date??

gosh, it's just too bad that hermione didn't talk to any of the UCSC muggle students--they're usually BEYOND openminded. :)He gestured at the ghosts, the suit of armor, and the implements of destruction decorating the walls. “Reminds me of school.” This is so dry. it's just great. the implements of destruction bit actually reminds me of Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie, tho that's probably not what you're going for. it's really quite funny.I totally ship luna/rolf now! never thought of it before... :)pardon my asking, but are you san franciscan? because I totally admire your use of herb caen and emperor norton. it's just perfect. and the parrots, and everything. it's like an homage to the city, which is not something that shows up too much in hp fanfic.

That's part of why I choose Santa Cruz rather than Berkeley or Sausalito - the irony was just too delicious to ignore. You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant (excepting Alice). My favorite bit is the riff of the 8 by 10 color glossy photos and justice being blind. But implements of destruction is the term my friends and I used for the mediaevel (sp?) weaponery that hung on the halls in the Edinburgh (I'm not sure the weaponry is still there - though the pub is).I wish I could claim I thought of it, but it's JKR post-DH interview canon, as are most of the couples mentioned (by Hermione).Bay Area raised. SFSU. And of course Norton and Caen would hang around, don't you think? And be buddies. I was an odd teenager - my favorite thing to do on sundays was to read the paper, and Caen's column. Remember the pink datebook?Totally an homage. SF is almost the fifth wheel.

I like how laidback they are, how adult they seem. This isn't an attraction that is barely not hatred, it's more mature. The description of the scenery was lovely and the analysis of "towers" was very interesting. Great job!

Thank you, I had a lot of fun writing it - glad you liked the towers!
