Like many proud alumni of the honorable Hufflepuff House, ApollinaV is a rabbid Huffle-hugger, champion pear-tickler, and founding member of Cleansweep-Streakers Guild (the AV-Eyeful is so named in her honor). Since graduating Hogwarts, she done 'responsible' and 'professional' things - and resolves not to do that anymore. Dreadful amounts of paperwork.

Wow! That was a very interesting response to the prompt. (JustJeanette was the one who issued the prompt, btw ...)That was indeed a very interesting twist at the end. Yeah, Draco did go far far away from the body and his time ...
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Excellent, thanks for telling me who's prompt it was. It was a dandy idea. I'm glad it worked. I had a lot of fun playing with it. I'm thrilled you liked.
Wow, it's all I can really say. This was brilliant and I would love to read more on this little tale if you ever chose to continue it. This just makes my imagination run all over the place, and I love it.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Except for the whole 'Paradox' thing... or whatever. It was one of the Saturday Night Drabbles, so I really hadn't planned on expanding it, but it's gotten some really great feedback and, I dunno. There's definitely room for development here. I'm glad you liked it though. Thank you.
I absolutely didn't expect that. How ... unexpected. He is in for a good therapy now.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
I would definitely think that's therapy worthy. Not that growing up as he did wouldn't already make him a prime candidate for the Thackery Ward.
Okay, I couldn't resist how Draco could be his own father and you did not disappoint. Wonder if "Crissy" figured it out yet?
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Thank you m'dear. I had a lot of fun with the prompt, but the rest is up to your imagination! AV
Wow, now that's a paradox and a half! great concept.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Thank you, it was one of the Saturday night drabble prompts. Fascinating premise, aside from the whole incest stuff. I'm glad it seemed plausable enough. AV
yeow! how's that for a fullfilled prophesy! thanks
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Hey, I glassed over the whole Lemons thing. Smut with Mom isn't cool. Ever. Still, one heck of a premise. All the best, AV
Oops... :)
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Say that one more time. Ooops is right! A minor tactical error. Then again apparently you can't outrun fate. Or a really good drabble prompt. AV
Oh my ..... SO GOOD! The way that it was written - to the set up of the last scene ... ah so good!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Thank you love! I'm glad it worked for you and told a good story in the process. When I saw the prompt it made my head spin and I realized that by being improbable and just plain odd, therein was the opportunity for something cool. AV
I am wondering what Draco killed his father over, heh. But this was very interesting, even with the squicky subject. Nicely done.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
You know, I debated on writing that, but figured for a drabble it wasn't crucial to the prompt and ditched it. I suppose it doesn't matter when you've got a Prophecy dictating that it will happen. Thanks!
I'm guessing that Draco didn't pay much attention to the second half of the Oedipal prophecy...yes, despite the "squickiness", that was quite the fascinating ficlet.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was more of his natural hubris to assume a Malfoy could outrun destiny. AV
The sqickiness aside ... that was a truly amazing concept.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Credit goes entirely to whomever came up with the prompt. I wish I knew who thought of it, but I was very happy to nab it...squickiness aside.
Response from apisa_b (Reviewer)
Taking an interesting prompt is one thing - writing a bloody brilliant story with it is a completely different thing. The masterful execution is entirely your credit!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Why thank you, that's very kind.
Wow. I thought maybe somehow Draco was Lucius but... ick! his mother?? He totally did his own mother! eeewwww. But beyond that, I wonder if Narcissa then recognized him as he grew into a man? I mean, it's one thing to "take after your father", it's another to be his identical twin. Hmmm... maybe an idea for a second prompt - make it a series, perhaps? *runs off to TPP forums*P.S. Um... there might be, maybe, -- "I'm just sayin' you might wanna take a peek" :) -- possibly be a follow up prompt to this one. ... That um... maybe, might, possibly have a 'specific author' request tacked onto it.But I might be wrong. Just a guess, really.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Wait... so you dug the INCEST fic, and want more?I blame the prompt entirely. There was no way it could be satisfied in um...100-400 words. At the same time, I had to get to the point really really quick. The prompt - as squicky as it is - was intriguing. (New heights to 'Go F' yourself' Or...'MotherF'er') Sorry... anyway... a tack on prompt might be fun.
But dear me, not on the 'Smut Night' we were talking about. You noticed I skipped over the nasty bits.
Response from Mazzy (Reviewer)
Oh absolutely. I was looking at the whole thing more in a psychological way than concentrating on the squickiness. I mean, essentially this man and this woman met a long taime ago and like each other - at least enough for a bit of a romp - so I ws thinking about them seeing each otehr that way and - due to magic - dimply having to deal with the situation this has put them in.Definitely not smut night! ugh!!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
I suppose. However. I think subconsciously, he might have known who she was. Drunk or not. Yikes.
The implications of that are truly odd. I am both awed and frightened!!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
I'm not sure what that means for genetics, but Draco can probably claim to be the most pure-blooded of them all. I'm glad you liked it.

Haha! Awesome. Very nice. And this is why you shouldn't go around banging random strangers. You never know when you might inadvertently sire yourself.
Author's Response:
Is that why random unprotected sex is risky? I thought as much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
WOWZERS! Incest normally squicks me, but this was amazing!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
It's still pretty squicky, just far fetched. I've never written an incest before, and I didn't think I would, but the prompt was fascinating. I'm thrilled you liked it.
Oh wow - that WAS cool! And yes - I really enjoyed it even though I don't even want to think about the DNA involved in the whole process!:D
Response from ApollinaV (Author of Fortune's Fool)
Why thank you! Yes, I do believe he's won the prize for most Pureblooded of them all.Is it possible? Dunno. I'll give the standard answer that anythings possible with magic. <3 AV
