I am a 20-something-year-old who admits to not knowing or having everything figured out, beta, foodie, bibliophile, and dabble in art. Most days I may be found in the kitchen indulging in the culinary arts.
I adore a multitude of pairings in the fandom, though I am partial to: SS/HG, DM/HP, NT/HG, PP/MB, SS/HG/LM, Snupin, and LL/HG.

I think this is more true to the point than many realize. We spend our lives in duty to others and when the time comes that we can focus on ourselves we are, but a wasted shell of what we once were.

I am glad that someone caught the true point of this little snippet. Your words ring very true, dear.
altho his death was a waste his life in jkr's hands would have been worse. great drabble. thanks
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
I agree with you, JKR did not do right by him, which is why I refuse to acknowledge his death. I am glad that you liked my drabble. :)

Alas, only too true, and too sad, too. Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review and the pretty stars, dear. :)
Very sad, yet so very true too!
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
It is sad that he had to endure this kind of life, but I will try to make it up to him in another story.
Awwww, he indeed deserves much better than that! Nice take on the prompt.
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
He does deserve better than what he got. I am glad that you think I did well with the prompt, dear, because it took me forever to write.
*hands a cheering up Potions to Sev* He must defintely deserves it.
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
A cheering up potion, good food, and the love of a good woman is what he needs.
Aw, poor Sev. He could come and work for me! Course I couldn't pay him in gold, but I'd take care of him.
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
I would send Sev to you because you would treat him well, and that is what he needs.
... cruelty and the education of children who do not give a damn ...I sympathise with Severus. Oh I really do.
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
I think many of us sympathise with Severus. From the way his students behave, I am surprised that he never walked out and gave up. It takes nerves of steel to be a teacher, and I praise anyone that has taken on that profession.
His life was sad. Let's hope his next incarnation (if one believes in that) is more rewarding. This is very sad and the sort of thing that JKR would probably h ve given SS if she's had him survive the war.
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
I hope that Severus is happy where ever he may be. I agree with you; JKR would have continued his misery if he had lived, which is something I don't understand. For a man that gave up so much of his life, he got nothing good for it in return.
bummer... poor guyYou know, it must be sad to have felt that way. I hate the way he met his end. :( And then living that kind of life to not be rewarded for his sacrifices.
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
I feel bad for him too, SW. I can only imagine how hard his life actually was, which is why I usually give him a happy and rewarding ending.
Poor, poor Severus. He needs a lady friend...
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
Yes he does need a lady friend.
That's so sad. My little Hufflepuff-heart wants to wrap my arms around him and say, 'it wasn't in vain. We love you!' Thank you for sharing this. *kisses* AV
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
*Glomps* Thanks for such a sweet review, AV.
This has been up on my computer for two weeks, waiting for me to review it. Every time I read back through it, it just depresses the heck out of me. Well done, then. :)
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
Sorry it depresses you, dear. I just saw this as something he'd really think/feel. *sends hugs and chocolate to you*PajamaPants's response: Oh, the depressing bit just means you hit your mark with a depressing prompt!
Response from luvsev (Author of Wasted Life)
Well, at least I accomplished the goal of the prompt. :)
