Author's Response: LOL Shudder away - I'll never claim it's a pairing for everyone! (actually, I have to parse through it mentally, myself... like, whoah) But when I open up to prompts and pairings - this sort of thing can happen. XD

I love Neville, tho, he's the sort of Gryffindor with the patience of Job that it would take to catch this stubborn Slytherin!

okay, i'm sitting here wondering why i don't find this pairing as disturbing as snarry - no good reason, really, but somehow i found it amusing. it was fun to see neville turn the tables.

Well, Neville doesn't invoke all of the unrequited love nonsense that makes Snarry sort of worrisome from my POV - I feel bad for Harry, that he'd just be a substitute. (and I absolutely adore Neville!) And yes - I love to see Neville in a position of triumph, not to mention the eeeevil joy I feel when Snape gets hoist with his own petard! Thank you for the review!

thanks for the insight into the snarry squick factor - makes sense. that's one snape pairing i cannot fathom and hope to go to my grave w/o ever reading a single one.
