I am a 37 year old wife and mother and began reading fanfiction in the middle of last year. Soon it revived my desire to write, which had lain dormant for a number of years, and I couldn't be happier. I do hope you enjoy my stories as I empty my head of them.
Thanks to MMADfan I proudly ship AD/MM, and thanks to OSUSprinks I proudly ship FF/PS. I am also rather fond of SS/OC and am beginning to appreciate the SS/HG ship thanks to Subversa.
Happy Reading and writing!!
Cheers!!
Stef

Thank you, and thanks for reviewing.
This is the sweetest Severus story!!! Thank you for this window into the Potions master with his grandchild. His first grandchild!!!Beth
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Thank you. I am sure there are more where he came from as I imagine Severus having at least four children. *smirk*~Stef
Very nice view of the future. While I love to read epics there is much to enjoy in these little flashes from favorite characters. I often wonder on the details -- who are the child's parents, why is the baby there today, etc. Thanks for sharing a bit of fun, JoAnne

Thanks for reviewing. I am glad you liked it. Little tidbits do leave you open to imagine the other fun details.~Stef
very cute and funny. nice use of the prompt.
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Aw, thanks. I am glad you liked it.~Stef
I loved the story of the heirloom. And I really liked the line about the baby's stench clinging to Severus's robes!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
I am glad you loved it, thank you.~Stef~
Heehee, still a Stoic...or so he would have us believe... :)
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Tis true. Ever intriguing, our Potions Master. Thanks.~Stef =o)
lovely! of course the baby would grab for the book - and a potions journal, at that. I wonder what the soft green light indicated - that the baby is a little Prince? that the baby is a wizard? I would enjoy reading more about this little grandchild! thanks for sharing.
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
The light was an indication of the magic in the child and his destiny. Thank you, Stef =o)
you made great use of that little prompt, dear. I loved it!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
YAY! Thanks, I'm glad you think so. Thanks for the review, too.~Stef
Aw how sweet. I gasped when he said 'that stench' as if baby smell was horrid, but it would affect his carefully constructed persona, wouldn't it? LOL Loved the reaction of the book, recogninzing the baby. Still, I bet ol Sev will be a great grandfather!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Me, too. And it depends on what kind of baby smell we are talking about. Thank you for you review.~Stef~
It seems his secrets will never be safe. I can just see Severus holding the child at arms length with a nappy full of things best not mentioned. LOL
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Too true. Lol, thanks. =o)
I'd bet he does silly baby talk when he thinks no one else is looking! LOL Snape + babies = AAAAWWWWWW!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Now, there is a plot bunny if ever I saw one! This one turned out fluffier than I thought it would. But it is all good, and I agree about the babies. tee hee! Thanks for your review! ~Stef =o)
So cute. I can't think of nothing but a stiff Severus changing dirty nappies *grin*.
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Yep. That was the first picture that popped in my head with the first grandchild prompt. He cannot look anything but impeccable, so of course, a smelly child will never do, lol.Thank you for your reveiw.~Stef
Can just see him holding smelly baby at arm's length! :)
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Yes, I believe he would do that, complete with the face, lol. Thank you, dear.~Stef~ =o)
Wha-? He did not come up with that speech himself? Now I am so disappointed. ;-)
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Ah, but it is only implied. Who's to say he didn't put his own twist on things, and she just helped him along?
you chose a wonderful secretive heirloom which ensnared all our senses... now we know! *hehe*
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Thanks!
Oh, that was wonderful!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
And here I was, afraid you wouldn't like it. Daww, *blush* thank you.Stef
So cute! And I loved the origins of that ridiculous speech Severus gives to his first-years!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Some Things Never Change)
Somehow, that just had to be something he would pass on. Thanks!~Stef~
