Aw, it is good that Hagrid had Sophie to turn to.  I find it very unique that you made the squid a girl.  I think everyone always makes it a boy.  =o)

A very brief yet very clever and very unique story.  Interesting, isn't it, that the Giant Squid is generally assumed to be male -- that is, on those relatively rare occasions when anyone takes the time to consider our favorite cephalopod (Sophie the Cephalopod!) at all?  Hmmmm...for some strange reason, I find I rather like the idea of a female Giant Squid.

That was fun... and so in character for Hagrid.

So sweet, and it seems canon. Although, usually the squid is described in fanfic as he or it, rarely she. Interesting take!

Oh, so sweet. I liked that this was from the POV of the squid. She is absolutely a adorable and so sensitive. I wonder why the Merpeople didn't like or befriend her? At least Hagrid did, but he likes all types of critters!
