Very touching. Did the person die? Or simply leave? Seems like "he" did. I guess sometimes losing someone simply by having them leave is like them dying as well... especially if you never see them again. good poem

There was no guy... there never has been. I just had a dream about dancing on a beach. In the morning I wrote this. I really wish I had a guy to dance on the beach with... southern_witch_69's response: Sounds like she is talking to someone, dreaming about the person, and wakes in disappointment that they are gone. I mistook it for having lost someone "she'd" already had.
