the fact i read this again even though i knew it was tragic is a testament to how powerful it is. and i didn't notice on the first read the lack of commas. it was only when i was thinking about it afterwards that i thought, "wait a second. i think she did it again!" good job. :D

Wait just a doggone minute!  Is it too late?  Or has Hermione arrived on time?  Can the three vials help?  Has he decided to die?  Your ending is vague!  It was well-written.  Reallly well-written.  I liked how the people he might feel the most guilt over have forgiven him.  This is a nice companion piece to "Regrets."  Will there be more comma-free companion pieces coming?  I have accomplished a comma-free review once more.
