Beautiful. Almost poetic even. I loved it.
Severus' letter to Hermione is so full of love and longing that it gave me chills! Hermione's reply to him, while brief, was just as full of love as his.
I'm glad these letters have seen the light of day. For a man who thinks of himself as ineloquent, Severus has written the most beautiful declaration of love and gratitude that any man has ever writ. The adoration he feels for his wife and black-haired daughter has a heartbeat of its own.
Hermione's letter mirrors his own... they both had never thought a child would be in their futures. But here she is, and she will be the most loved (and very much protected by her father) child in all the Wizarding World.
Thank you.
Beth
I never read original story (something I should remedy soon), but I enjoyed this little story as it is a lot.
So much love in those letters.
Refreshing. I liked it very much.
nice addition
Oh, I'm surprised I didn't catch the reference of the title. Very cool. And it was nice to see Severus so thoughtful about Hermione and his new daughter.
this was absolutely wonderful. i loved revisiting these particular incarnations of these characters, and i particularly loved that severus is all wordy and inarticulate and hermione's is short, sweet, and to the point. :D
It's so sweet. And so good toheve some news of this particularly couple.
very much enjoyed and very touching. thanks so much
This was a wonderful gift to find after a stressful morning. It is as fluffy as I needed, and yet very much in character.Thank you for the addendum!Lela
Oh how sweet. I loved Severus self depreation and his rambling attenpt to simply say that he found a miracle and will treasure to. I loved how he said that he's not an eloquent man... LOL ANd her letter, saying that she had to get it from him when he went to the loo, cuz he had tucked it away from her... teehehe, so cute. It's great that the tenderness is there, the love, althogh you can tell he is still the same loveable Snape and Hermione the eternal optimist. Thank you for creating such great letters... I really enjoyed them.
That was lovely.
