There are more uses to a Time-Turner than to make sure you get twelve OWLs. Canon-compliant all through DH, including TDE (That Dreadful Epilogue (TM)).

26 years old, avid HP fan, live in a pretty rainy country. My favourite writer is George Orwell, which should be taken as a warning by anyone looking for pink fluff. I do not like pink fluff.
I used to be a hard core SS/HG shipper. Then came Dracontia and completely blew my mind with her HP/DM stories. And once I started reading slash, there was just no going back. I still enjoy a well-written SS/HG (or any pairing, really), but the current passion is pretty boy-on-boy action. :-) Any pairing, more or less, I'm not that picky (except for SS/HP, that really creeps me out for some reason.)
I'm also an avid Bandom fan (P!atD). Those fics can be found on my LJ if you want to explore the waters outside the HP realm one day.
2008-12-08: Today, I abandoned hope of finishing my SS/HG WIPs "Shades of Grey" and "Les innocents." I'm very sad about letting go, but I feel it was the right thing to do. (More details in the A/Ns of each story if you're interested).

I find myself wishing that Al & Scorp become friends. If for no other reason than it will make it easier for Draco & Harry to see each other. If you are going to cheat a time turner is a swell way to do it. Very sneaky.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the concept.I too wish that Al and Scorp become friends. Hrm... maybe I should write that. :-)

I'm not necessary against adultery. For me it certainely depends on the cicrumstances one is in. But in this case I don't really understand. Almost twenty years has passed since Voldy's downfall. If they're unhappy in their respective marriage why didn't they break them and live happily together. Lucky for them there are time turners because that way there are less chances they'll be discovered.

Very good comment. Thank you!The reason for the setup here is canon-compliance. I wanted to write a story that fit even with TDE (That Dreadful Epilogue :-)). As for Harry not leaving Ginny, I can see reasons for it, such as the children, who are still very young, or the extended family and friends. In my head, Harry is locked in, if only in his own head. I don't necessarily agree with his reasoning as to why this would be the least bad option for him, but the setup rather intrigues me, and I enjoyed exploring it.Also, there might be a tie-in here with a longer story I just finished, which will make this pop in a whole new way. That one is part of a fic event, however, so it won't post just yet. Anyway. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Made me very happy.

Oh now I never expected THIS when I read it! You know, I'm more and more of a HP/DM pairing every time I read these stories. Absolutely brilliant. :)

I'm thrilled at being one to drag you more deeply into the lovely, lovely HP/DM waters. It's the very best place to be in my opinion. Thanks so much for reviewing. I'm really glad you liked it.

Yay! Well done, dear. TDE needs to be ignored wherever possible!

Oh, most definitely. Ignored or thouroughly mocked. :-) Thanks for reading.

Beautiful work. I always am entranced by your stories. I love that Harry keeps even a little something from Draco... although he is aging faster than he should be because of it. Oh well. Lol. I thought it was Brill darlin. marble meadow

Thank you very much. That brings a big smile to my face. I don't see Harry as ageing more quickly because of the Time-Turner, however. I know it's a common fanon interpretation of the device, but in my head, it's all about going back and splitting the timeline temporarily, which means that you don't age during it, as there is still just one timeline (with parallell tracks, so to speak) rather than a loop. Going to deeply into the philosophy of time-travel always lands you in paradox-land, however. :-) Thanks for reading!
