It seems that their Christmas Ball is a huge success. Severus was so sweet when he was looking for Hermione. And so adoring of her when he found her.And it looks like we may have a new couple in the making... Stephen Prince adn Julia Sinestra. This may be very interesting indeed.Good chapter, brandy!Beth

Yet another great chapter. I'm guessing this is one the trials that they are going to go through, as we know i'm sure Severus doesn't like talking or being reminded about his past, but I wouldn't blame it on Hermione but i'm sure they will make it to one another *winks* resulting in 'pleasurable circumstances'. Why would he invite his brother if he didn't want Hermione to meet him? I'm guessing there must be more to the story than he has told.

It appears that there are more secrets to be unearthed between Severus and Stephen.I hope Severus can quell his bad feelings toward his brother, and certainly he should not be angry with Hermione. Having invited him, surely he expected Hermione to meet Stephen as hostess and as Severus' wife. However, with Severus nothing is simple, and when he is wearing a "blank mask of indifference" there is likely to be hell to pay.Other than that, it seems that he Ball is a huge success!

Poor Severus' aching joints! I can identify with his pains! LOL.I'm looking forward to the Christmas Ball and meeting his cousin, half-brother and other various and sundry relations. I can't imagine what it would be like to host such an occasion for 200 guests.Well done!Beth
