Thank you! Severus doesnt have a lot of sweet moments, but he picks the ones that matter.
I'm working my way through all your stuff now - I'm spoilt for choice as I love them all!Just adore your use of words, 'a monument of wet, black cloth' - absolutely delightful!Always knew Severus was a softie at heart; I love both babies and kittens (I'm a soft n' fluffy kind of girl - in moderation of course!) so this just made me melt ....

Thank you! I'm more of a kitten person myself, and I remain just a little proud of that description of Severus. I need to write mroe drabbles--they encourage using languae carefully.

Awwwwwwww I thought for sure it was going to be a baby! I have a lovely mental picture of scowling Snape holding a fluffy little kitten.

Sad, but sweet.
Two dogs, four cats, two hamsters, and two kids. The animals are easier. THEY never ask me for a 'quick' twenty dollars. I know where they are at night, and they never answer me back.

I'll take animals over kids any day. My horse may weigh fifteen hundred pounds and think I'm a chewtoy, but he doesn't burst into tears for no apparant reason. Thank you!
