Silken Madness
Severus pinched thin leather straps between his fingers, held an impossibly high-heeled shoe up in the light – and scowled.
He would immediately speak with Hermione about cleanliness, order, respect, and how things should be in their house.
Only his mind went hopelessly blank.
Her cloak was pooled on the floor. Following it, more clothing lay in a rambling stream, rapidly flowing toward the soft glow of the bedroom.
Severus slowly pushed the door open, pulling something maddeningly silken off the handle.
He barely managed to close his mouth, and absently tossed the shoes aside to clatter to the floor.
