It was only here that they could pretend the outside word did not exist, only here were they free to admit who they truly were.

Reviews for Years on the Porch Swing
I don't understand these people who can't accept homosexuality when in Roma some centuries ago this kind of relationship was glorified. And no one has a thing to say about it.

Bittersweet. It's sad when two people who love each other can't be together, but stolen moments have their own special charm. Thanks for sharing. /M

It's sad when two people who love each other can't be with each other (insert whatever reason). I'm happy, though, they can still take moments together on their swing.

That's quite sad. I have always tried to envision the wizarding world as more welcoming of such pairings, but of course, there is room for interpretations such as yours.
Not to be demanding, but I'd love to see this as a snapshot of two women living their happily ever after... with each other. The other side of the mirror, perhaps?
Author's Response: thank you so much for reviewing. it means a lot.
i flip-flop on if the wizarding world would be more open to homosexuality. the fact that dumbledore's gay gives me hope. but that doesn't mean there wouldn't be people who'd be against homosexuality.
Well... one day they'll probably be widows?
