I don't blame you! The story doesn't leave her in a very good place at the end. I feel bad for Pansy, too, though - it's hard to not know what you want! (Even for people who make everything look easy.)

Pansy is so cruel in her thoughlessness, she has known Millie for so long, she must realize vulnerable she is. I guess that's why she choose Millie for her experment, Millie won't kick up a fuss, she will just take it, Pansy doesn't know the depth of the pain she has inflicted on the girl she calls friend, and if she did she wouldn't care.
