I just love this story... I read it when you first posted it, but had to read it again. It's truly beautiful.

Thank you very much! It's strange sometimes, how a story can be woven from a simple prompt, within minutes, and then end up with something I'm actually happy with.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to do such a thing? That was delightful.
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
Wouldn't it be just! I'd travel to see Bach, Mozart, Sibelius, Bizet, Berlioz, too... I guess I would never be in the present, LOL.Thank you for your lovely review!

Great one-shot. :) I must say, I'm rather jealous of those two!
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
LOL! When I was writing it, I desperately wanted to step into either's shoes! But then, if I had a Time-Turner, I'd never be in the present, and my entire time would be filled with music.Thank you for reviewing!

Hmmm, I think I prefer the 5th to the 9th... but then again, the second movement of the 9th is just spectacular.Either way, lovely fic :)

My hubby prefers the 5th, too! I absolutely agree with your view on the second movement of the 9th!!! I have both George Szell conducting the Cleveland and the Vienna, and I can never decide which one is better. Thank you for leaving a review!

I saw this on your LJ and thought it was fantastic! What a clever idea. I'd go too, if I could!
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
Thank you! Yes *deep sigh* wouldn't it be lovely to go back in time and watch the maestro conduct it...

I love that piece of music! great little story :)
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
Thank you, dahling! Yeah, I think it's the greatest music ever written, and there's a lot of good music around... I just can't quite make up my mind if I love the Cleveland or the Vienna better. Under George Szell, even the Vienna is quite playful.

Boy, that person who wrote the prompt must have known that you would come up with something awesome as a result. ~snickers~ Good work, doll. I enjoyed it.

I loved this when I read it on Potter_Place. Imagine hearing the music, directed by the composer the way it was meant to be played nad not by someon'e's interpertation! Oh, and Hermione went too! How'd they both get time-turners though?
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
Aw, thank you!As to how they procured Time-Turners is left up to the imagination of the reader. :)

this is lovely. (wish i could get me one of those time-turner thingies and do that!) i liked that he and the composer locked eyes for a moment, or at least that's always how he'd remember it. here's my wish - you could do a little series with him and hermione, and show the progression of their relationship as they take in different performances! just a thought. ; )
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
Aw, thanks! Yeah, I want a Time-Turner, too...I may well do another snippet of this. It's not leaving me alone, lol.

That was the best!First of all, I love time-turner fics and how clever of you to have them go see that! I mean, think of the possiblites!!! And you had my heart when it was Hermione next to him... perfect.Bravo.Will there be anymore like this? Because this really was excellent!

Thank you very much for such a thoughtful and wonderful review!I don't know if there will be a continuation, although I'm a bit tempted, lol. Gotta get some other WIPs out of the way, though.

I am a musician and I love Beethoven. I'm sure if I had traveled back in time I would have felt much like Severus did here. The added bonus of Mozart in the future is a nice gift. ;) Oh, yes, and of course, Hermione thrown in there is a very sweet thing too.
Response from karelia (Author of Reaquainting With Beethoven)
Oh, another Beethoven fan, yay! Thank you for your lovely review!
