Well, as the decades catch up to me, I had to come change my bio, if for nothing more than to change my age. I discovered HP and fanfiction after the 5th book and was instantly drawn to Snape. I mainly ship HG/SS with my 2nd favorite ship being NL/LL, although I will write almost any (non-canon) pairing (ok, so I have been known to write a drabble or two with a canon pairing, but it doesn't mean I enjoyed it).

Oh that was really sweet.
And here’s the explanation for his harsh correcting. Wonder if that quill is overzealous with red ink just only on parchment or on every surface available? … *grin*
Response from broomclosetravenclaw (Author of Reminiscences)
LOL. I think the quill would have to be like one of those 'WonderMarkers' that only write on the special paper--this quill must only write on parchment, otherwise, Severus' and Minerva's desks would be noticeably red--or maybe that is the reason everyone wears such long, flowing, covering cloaks. *snerk*

Very nice! You made me believe the pairing might be possible. =D

Thank you! You never know--Snape had to shag someone before he met Hermione (and she turned 18). LOL.

That was very well-written and you brought the pairing to life in a believable manner.I enjoyed it very much!

Most people would have read the prompt and gone right for the obvious (moi included, LOL). But I loved how used the phrase right there at the beginning, I thought it was an incredible metaphor. "The little death" and all, but you didn't use it that way in such an obvious manner.
I, too, love MM/SS, but you hardly ever see it. And when you do, she is usually a bit motherly, which is fine. I always think that he could've used some mothering. And to get laid, LOL.
Very tender without being maudlin, beautiful and spare and perfect. Great work.
Author's Response: Thank you. *grins* No, I didn't go for the obvious, because my muse could only think of clichés, and when the muse offered up this other scenario, it seemed Minerva was the perfect choice to pair with Severus. I had never written this pairing before, but it has really grown on me.
Thank you for reviewing. :)
That was wonderful!

Wow. I have never read this paring before and to be honset, I only love him with Hermione... but I've gotta say... this was so well written, that I liked it. Just don't tell Hermione... lol
Response from broomclosetravenclaw (Author of Reminiscences)
*grins* I won't tell Hermione you liked it if you won't tell her I wrote it. Besides, it happened before she was at Hogwarts. LOL.Thank you. This ws my first time writing this pairing, so I am glad you enjoyed it. :)

outstanding. i love mm/ss, it's good for a change of pace. well done!
Author's Response: Thank you! I thought writing a different pairing would give me a 'change of pace' and Minerva was happy to comply. :)
Interesting. I never envisioned them as a romantic couple, but always thought of them as good friends. In one of the early books McGonagall tells the students she wants her team to win at quidditch. She says the Gryffindor team hasn't won the cup in X years, "as Professor Snape kindly reminded me." and I knew they were good friends, in spite of any friendly rivalry they might have.I don't think they are sweethearts, but it is an interesting premise and you wrote it well. ---Wahoo

Thank you for reading. I usually don't write this pairing, but it seemed to make sense to me for this story--blame the muse. :) I also think they had a friendly raport and had some personality traits in common (and could see them maybe finding a bit of comfort in each other's company). So, thank you for being open-minded and willing to read and review an odd pairing. :)

This was good! I don't think I've ever actually read a Minerva/Severus pairing, but it worked in your story.
Response from broomclosetravenclaw (Author of Reminiscences)
Thank you. I don't see much of this pairing out there. I was just having a bit of fun outside my usual pairing. Glad you think it worked. :)

Hee. They're such an interesting couple.
Response from broomclosetravenclaw (Author of Reminiscences)
It was fun writing outside my usual ship. I've been playing around with differnt pairings lately. I think the muse was bored.
